Barley visited Studio Tile recently with his mother Denise, who is one of our team members. Barley has the honor of being the first feline visitor to Studio Tile. In this recent photo, he is only 5 months old, still a baby! He is generous with kisses and loves to play and explore. He's also a slave to fashion and loves to wear vests and other seasonal attire.
Daisy the Pit Bull was lost before our Studio Tile crew rescued her from a precarious situation, running loose in Rockledge, near US 1. Here, she's relaxing at Studio Tile while our team tries to locate her family. Happily, within 24 hours, Daisy was reunited with her family, including her relieved and anxious boyfriend, Cisco, a black Chihuahua.
We don't know her name, but couldn't resist capturing her pic on a visit to Rockledge Gardens. She's cat-napping on a tiled counter-top with a fun garden theme and hand made mosaics in the popular local garden center. Kitty surely appreciates cool tiled surfaces on hot humid days. Thanks to whoever made this tiled counter top just for her!
Henrietta made her presence known every day on a Merritt Island new construction job site. She lives next door with a pony that we could never catch on film. Once we started installing tile floors, Henrietta was asked to stay outside. She's not potty trained and isn't respectful of the crews effort to keep the job site tidy.
Look closely on the left side of the photo. There's the third of six herding breed dogs on this Lake Washington job site. We didn't catch their names as they had to be corralled to stay out of trouble during demo and installation. They wanted to help, but we politely declined their friendly offer to assist.
We rarely get photos of finished projects that include furry family members. In this case, Bruno belongs to a Studio Tile team member. After this guest bathroom renovation was completed, it was easy to catch him in a classic "cat-in- the-sink" pose. The mosaic backsplash is composed of quartzite, a natural stone. The 4x12 subway wall tile is made by H.R. Johnson, an English tile manufacturer.
Woodlyn, a sweet and shy girl came to say hi when we visited after completing a whole house flooring renovation. You can see the 12x24 porcelain tile floor in the background. She was taken in by the family after someone dumped her in a rural area when she was pregnant. She was found on the clients property in an out building after she'd given birth to 5 kittens. All the kittens were adopted out to loving homes and Woodlyn remained with the family that saved her from abandonment.
These guys and gals showed up at Studio Tile unannounced and hung out for a couple days. They enjoyed daily showers and drinking fresh water when we watered the window box plants. Wildlife is a common occurrence at Studio Tile. Every now and then lizards, frogs, toads, birds and even a turtle have ended up in the showroom.
This handsome boy was on a job site that was already in demo when we arrived. He's a Savannah cat. We don't remember his name, but we do recall he is one active and curious kitty that was into every thing and wanted to see everything we did at every moment. We're told this breed of cat requires a lot of action, play and stimulation to keep them happy and healthy.
This is Holly; she's the family member of a team member. Holly has visited Studio Tile a couple times. She's an Australian Shepherd and shares her home with her brother, another Shepherd.
The sweet little face peering inside is Lolly. She was asked to spend some time on the lanai while we visited her home to review another area that needed new tile flooring.
This pair of Golden sisters with brand new hair cuts visited Studio Tile with their family and were on their very best behavior!
